POGGIO ALLA CAVALLA farm holidays with swimming pool, is situated in Lamporecchio (Pistoia) in the heart of Tuscany, near Florence, between Montecatini Terme and Vinci, the birth town of Leonardo. The area rests on the slopes Chianti-Montalbano, a natural terrace overlooking Valdinievole, with Pescia the city of flowers and Collodi famous for its Pinocchio Park.
The privileged geographical location of the farmholidays makes it possible to go on convenient day trips to tourism and culture centres and Tuscan cities of art: Firenze, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, Pistoia, Arezzo e Cortona, Lucca and the sandy beaches of Versilia.
The Farmholidays was built on the ground floor of the old farmhouse, which has been completely renovated, attempting to preserve and maintain its typical Tuscan features without renouncing comfort; it is made up of 4 apartments and 1 Master house and is surrounded by a garden, where there is a swimming pool with a large panoramic terrace and a private car park.
- The apartments: Orange, Blue, Yellow and Green each of them can accommodate up to 4/5 people.
- The Master House can accommodate up to 6/7 people.
Each apartment also has a private garden equipped with a table, chairs parasol and a barbecue for outdoor lunches and dinners and its own parking space in the private square of the tourist farm.
The swimming pool with springboard, was built in a sunny, open area to ensure that the temperature of the water is always pleasant. There is also a large solarium, a shower, deck chairs, sun beds, parasols, tables, set on a splendid terrace, where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside.
Not far from the apartment (km 1/km2), there are supermarkets and food shops, bakeries, banks, post office, pharmacy, medical practices, public assistance, restaurants, pizzerias, etc.
The owner Massimo Camelli, follows the reception directly of the guests to the farmhouse and looks during their stay to make enrich their holiday with pleasant sensations, thanks to the beauty of the landscape and genuine hospitality.
The organic farm is run by owner, who directly follows the various phases of growing and producing wine and olive oil according to organic farming methods.
The organic farming enables the production quality wine Chianti d.o.c.g. and extra virgin olive oil, which are not only wholesome and genuine but also recall authentic tastes and are a guarantee of attention to the environment and consumer’s well-being.
