About us

The Mulino rise on the old structure of the Deboli water-mill, dated back to 1800.

The stone-made mill, totally restored, is situated in Lamporecchio (Pistoia) in the heart of Tuscany, near Florence, between Montecatini Terme and Vinci, the birth town of Leonardo, in a valley next to Villa Rospigliosi (16th century); it is surrounded by suggestive greenery of the Montalbano hills, against which the ancient medieval castles of Vinci, Larciano, Monsummano and Montecatini stand out.

Massimo Camelli, who is in charge of the Mulino, together to Maurizio Sostegni, will try to make guests have as relaxing a stay as possible.

The Mulino includes 3 double rooms wiith private bat rooms. It is at your disposal the rustic living room with its fire place, a large and functional typical Tuscan kitchen. Outside you can enyoy a relax space and the great greenery surrounding the Mulino.

The ground floor comprise also the cellars,lwhere it’s possible to taste our production of wine and olive oil, according to organic farming methods.

In fact, we believe that the purpose of the Mulino is not only to ensure that guests have a pleasant stay in a family environment, with plenty of comforts such as a swimming-pool, a golf course and a spa, etc. but also and above all to give the guests the possibility, when necessary, of a holiday in close contact with nature and agriculture.

At the underground floor we find out of the old mill-machines room, visitable on demand, where water moved the wood blades. On exterior of the gurgle of a stream and the singing of blackbird will be companions of yours quie walks in the hearth of Montalbano.

On the occasion of organized dinnersat the Mulino, you can enjoy the tipical Tuscan cuisine.
